Well, folks, the Oakley City Council Five (McMurray, Shaw, Henderson, Meadows, and Williams, four of whom are officers in the Rotary Club of Oakley) are running scared. I put up a post reminding people that the Oakley City Clerk will begin accepting applications for the Oakley City Council. The date is July 13, 2026. Within four hours, the post was hidden because it pertained to local politics, which really is not a violation of ND protocols.

We need to elect two new members of the City Council to break up the Oakley City Council Five. Councilmembers Hugh Henderson, District 2, and Shannon Shaw, District 4, are set for reelection. Remember, we need to replace two. If only one is removed, there will still be a majority from the Rotary Club of Oakley to continue to create havoc in our City.
