A quick reminder that the Oakley City Council will be considering the City’s strategic plan on April 19th, at 5:00 p.m. The strategic planning meeting is public, and people can view the proceedings virtually. Items of infrastructure development that I would like to discuss when America Rescue Plan (ARP) money becomes available are bridges over the railroad tracks at Main St and Big Break Road, Cypress and Main St, and Laurel Rd at the Railroad tracks, which would involve extending Laurel Road to Sellers. Also, the completion of Bethel Island Road to Bryon Highway.
A top priority for me as to infrastructure would be a small one in comparison. The widening of Laurel Road east of O’Hara.
Please let our councilmembers know of your preferences.
